End of summer

Finally, after a long wait that lasted almost the all summer, we moved to our new home and studio! After a long, difficult time, when I look at these pictures taken during the summer, it doesn't seem all that bad and these memories it is all what I would like to remember, as I unpack all the boxes and trying to get back to work.

Boston Design Salon meeting at West Elm

Yesterday night one of the Biz Ladies by lovely Grace of Design Sponge, was hosted by the Design Salon Boston at the West Elm store. Great and interesting talks also given by Urban Living Studio, Three Square Design and Sc Hammond Advisors. What a perfect event in the perfect location!

In full bloom

The cotton ribbons are feature on the August issue of the magazine Creating Keepsake, used on several paper projects, shown in the article. A pleasure to see them there!

Massachusetts Marketplace Festival at The Horticultural Society

Just last Saturday, a nice event in beautiful Massachusetts's country side. Not a big crowd came like last year, but still a nice event for new contacts and customer. And lovely sunflowers!

McMaster and Storm

One of my most recent client for cotton ribbons and alphabet, with a shop in Greenville, Ohio, has some colorful pictures of lovely European items on their site. It was a nice surprise to see them. I love the old newspaper background!
McMaster and Storm will also participate in the Country Living Fair in Columbus, held on September 12 -14, along with other 100 exhibitor booths for antiques, vintage furnishings, gifts, crafts, and collectibles.

Cambridge finds

While walking in Cambridge, MA, on Second Street, I discovered these series of figures on the top of the entrance of a parking structure. A bizarre scene, I couldn't resist to take pictures of. And share.....
