Twine order

I'm processing box after box of Cotton Twine for a huge order that needs to be shipped in the middle of September, along the Vintage Stamps Sets. The new studio, before even becoming my working space, it looks like a storage with only one table to work on and affix labels and price tickets. With my children help things can go much quicker or slower depending if they decide to make a fort out of all of those boxes, instead! More announcement soon and a giveaway when all it will be done. Vintage Stamps

A little preview on what I'm working on days, after days for the last few weeks. I designed a Vintage Stamps Set for a store nationwide (to be announced soon) that will have them available for sale this fall. I designed the label with Susy's calligraphy and selected thousands of vintage stamps to get assembled in each glassine envelope. I found some amazing, engraved stamps from as early as the beginning of last century, from everywhere around the world. Fascinating! I still have more envelopes to go, I'm so lucky I have my daughter to help with the assembling. And she also tells me funny stories when we work together!

Petits Bonheurs

Can't remember when and where I found these photos by Petits Bonheurs, but I just re-found them on my inspirations folder. After a long morning of assembling orders, I enjoy looking at them as much as the first time and I love her latest storia italiana!

The flea market and the sea

Looking for something old/new for the studio, we spent the day in North Massachusetts looking at antiques, birds and dunes. Thank you Jill for the tips, we loved the area!

Excited to see the thin, red cotton ribbon used on Linda & Harriet beautiful calendar. And I particularly love the crab pattern on the month of August!

Reflections

Some progress to the studio's door and windows with decals. Love the reflection on the table top of the wood houses on the other side of the street. The space is slowly coming together, so much still needs to be done. But now the front door is white, as I wished!

Updates on the Gift Show

It has been so hectic here. Too much going on right now and hard to focus sometimes. Nevertheless, I was be able to quickly bind some copies of the wholesale catalogue to deliver to Shelley and get ready for the upcoming Gift Show. This is the first time we will exhibit there. Hoping for the best!

New York International Gift Fair

The NYC Gift Show is less than two weeks away and I'm happy announce that the Italian Cotton ribbons and Twine will be at at Booth No. 30011, New York City, Pier 92. New color ribbons and new prices, launched for the first time at the show! Unfortunately I won't personally be able to attend, but Shelley will kindly display my products along with her letterpress, once again in our blue/pool booth. Please stop by and the vintage stamps giveaway will be still on!
