Gracie Finn Holidays cards

I took some photos for Susy of her new line of letterpress holidays cards, printed with shiny, white ink on white paper. The blue table always seems to be the right background for so many things. And it changes color from shades of blue and green, depending on the light. Susy is launching her new cards line this fall, come to see it at the Studio Opening this Saturday or at her Studio Sale on December 9th. See you soon!

Studio inspiration

Over the last months I collected a lot of images as an inspiration to furnish the new studio. Now that the opening is just one week away, I went through my folder and found some amazing images of spaces and furnitures I really loved. You can tell i was looking for a sofa and tables inspirations! I apologize for not having any reference to these images, I pull them out of the screen in the same way I would mark a page on a magazine. And I have no memory of where they come from anymore. I hope you will enjoy them and have a great, long weekend everyone!

Grand Opening

After months of preparation, I think I'm ready for the opening of the studio.

Love this photo of the Red Twine at Terrain. I would like to relax and read a book in their cafe`. Hoping to visit some day.....

Studio Carta

I just hang a little sign on the front door. It is official, Studio Carta open by appointment, call me or email if you like to visit. I'm usually here in the morning, but always best to let me know. Also save the date for the Grand Opening on Saturday, December Fourth, from 12 to 6 p.m. Real Italian espresso will be served! More news and details about the opening soon. For this weekend I will just try to take a break. Happy weekend everyone!

Save the date

It is time again to plan for the holidays shows. I feel a bit behind this year to design all the invites, plan for my studio opening on December 4th, and work on the products that will be for sale. But arrived in my mailbox this beautiful design by Susy Pilgrim Waters for the annual studio sale I always look forward to. So save the date and come to visit us on December 9th, from 6 to 9 at 11 Eden Avenue, Newton, MA. Everyone is invite. It is a colorful, crowded, inspiring show, certainly my favorite of all!

After learning in the US what xoxoxo means, I thought the obvious consequence of my line of Alphabet Brocaded Ribbons was to design a xoxoxo ribbon. Roll of 5 meters, 1 cm width, now available in the shop. Custom-made in Italy in time for the holidays! Suitable for different projects or gift wrapping, I hope you will enjoy this new product.
