Chelliswilson and Porland

We left to Portland with only one address in mind: 17 Pleasant Street. Immediately after I saw 15 Points on ChellisWilson's blog, I thought that this was our destination for a small trip. And it was indeed absolutely beautiful! A combination of Portland and ChellisWilson were perfection. Every detail in her shop is worth to photograph and I think the images can explain more than words the beauty I perceived behind a brilliant mind. I left the shop fully inspired and ecstatic, with only one question What does the name ChellisWilson come from? it does sound beautiful, as everything else there and maybe this IS the reason!
Love to spot some very familiar pieces: Bookhou wood Alphabet on the wall, our Calendarbook hanging in the dressing room, Fog Linen tape and the red spool of ribbon, within my favorite palette of Bianco, Rosso and some shades of gray for the wrapping. All together, what a memorable trip!

Community Garden

A few shots of the Community Garden's Sale we had at my children school. I contributed with the packaging design for the pots, labels for the seeds and logo. Mostly working with one parent , the event planner that thought about the all presentation. Love the Marimekko table cloth as a background and the seedings I brought back home!

A few days in New York

Only a week ago we were still in New York and it already so far away...... It was a fantastic trip and meeting all the people I admire is my favorite part of doing the show. Our pool color booth build by Shelley was great and I felt as we are improving the display every year, learning what we need and what it's missing. More space this time and better organized, for sure. I loved meeting in person Anna Bond, Tara and Alli. I wish I can be closer to them for daily inspiration. But this without counting all the blogger, designers, and countless talents I have met for the first time this year or at the past shows. Here are little pieces of my New York and the place where we lived intensively for a few days. What a city!
An amazing work was done by Nole, Jane, Grace and Kristen for visiting each and every booth, taking notes and endless photographs of all the products. And to Felt and Wire for their post. Truly thank you to all for the support and see you next year!

After the show

I came back with a lot of treasures after three intensive days of Stationery Show. After meeting so many great designers and customers right at our booth and around the show, my favorite part is now going through the new collection of business cards and remembering each and every person I talked to. Still organizing orders, ideas and photos. More on nyc coming soon, happy weekend everyone!

National Stationery Show 2010

Everything is ready and in boxes and I only have to pack today for the trip. I will collect notes on the show and pictures, back to my screen after May 20th. So happy, New York City here we come!

Online catalogue

The last tour de force before the stationery show has been designing the online wholesale catalogue with all the new products and prices. I recently discovered this great site and thought that suited so well what I needed. I had no idea though, that it will take so much time to design another catalogue, on top of all the rest that needs to be done before the show. Anyway, now it's done and I'm just wondering if in this chaos, I'm forgetting something important, if all the spelling is correct and how does it look all together?
I'm also very thankful to Shelley and Rebecca for building our booth, I don't think I will even get to the show without their help!

Almost done!

Almost done with the catalogue for the NSS, that I postponed until almost the last second, before the show. It looks as a busy weekend is coming, with no break. But I look so forward to the trip to New York City next week! more news soon....

Francobolli Line

This year, for the first time, I'm launching the Francobolli Line Greeting Cards to the show, with some new designs. This means photographing each individual card for the new catalogue and I'm presenting 24 different cards in total! here below a preview and now back to work!

NSS favors

A good start this morning organizing some favors for the Stationery Show, to give to people that stop by at our booth. Because Shelley and I seems to have a weakness for vintage stamps and for incorporating them into our designs, I thought to gather a big mix of stamps in a printer wood box, to leave at our booth, instead of most common candies or chocolate. I have a huge amount of amazing stamps that Bari gave to me and they look so attractive. Do you think it can be a good idea?

Art and Wine

An art and wine event is coming up on May 6th in one of my favorite shop, with paintings by one of my favorite artist. I will go and it will be a nice break!

Work in progress

The Stationery Show is only two weeks away. I'm working on the sample of the Francobolli Line and possibly after that most of the preparation is done? Maybe...
