Estate sale

After soccer game on Saturday, we saw a sign for an estate sale. With my son, we followed it all the way through and found ourself in what it seemed a set for a movie from the 1930'. The house was intact, with flowery wall paper all around. We walked away with a sewing kit and a vintage hat box, with a beautiful calligraphic logo. Now sitting in my studio, I'm quite happy about the find. I know October will be a busy month. I feel honored to be invited to the American Made event in NYC, organized by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, happening in Grand Central Station Vanderbilt Hall, from October 17th and 18th. I will be there for a bookbinding demo and, along with great vendors, at Our Finds Market Place. More news to come....
