I have taught a three hours workshop at Paper Source Brookline, MA, today. Students made three Japanese binding books, a noble binding, hempleaf and tortoiseshell binding, with silk screen Yuzen Japanese paper, on the cover.

ooh lovely. i adore the art of japanese binding myself!
These are beautiful. I learned of Japanese binding while watching a crafting show on TV and since then many of my favorite blank books have been made using this technique.
Everything you make is so careful and beautiful! I love the new little card too.
