At the American Academy in Rome.....

Within the 45th Music Festival of Nuova Consonanza, at the American Academy of Rome, Silvana Amato is curating an exhibition of small, independent presses for one evening only, on Sunday, November 16th, from 5 to 8:30. Limited edition books by Edizioni Almenodue, along with several Italian artist books, will be on view on the second floor of the American Academy, in Villa Aurelia, Rome. Villa Aurelia is a magnificent building from the 17th century, with eleven acres of gardens atop the Janiculum, the highest hill within the walls of Rome. We had the fortune to be part of the same event in the past and here below is one picture from 2006, with all the artist books on view. Hopefully my friend Silvana will decide to have her own website soon and will take some good pictures of the event this Sunday!
