I just came back after four long weeks in Italy, hard to be back to so much snow on the East Coast. But I feel now rested and charged, ready for the new year with some new hope and inspirations! Rome was beautiful, with sunny days almost all the time, even in January. They were days of a lot of memories and I even went back to my old building, where I lived on the third floor until I was 13. I photograph it for the first time and I can't resist to post it here below.
Beyond spending most of the time with my family, the main reason of my trips to Italy, I went to visit my beloved collaborator of Edizioni Almenodue in her studio by Ponte Milvio. After a picnic in the court yard and a brief, but effective update about our plans for 2009, I took a few photos of the interiors. Some already posted here from last year trip.
So I will be back with more news soon, while I get adjusted to this cold. winter weather.

oh i adore rome. i will have a look at the guide you wrote for the next time i am there!
Wonderful photos! I have to say that Rome holds a place dear to my heart. I studied architecture there for a semester in 2007 and I would love to go back and wander the streets again. Our apartment was two blocks south of the Pantheon on Via dell'Arco della Ciambella. Even though I missed my family quite a bit, I couldn't help but be amazed that I was able to study in such an amazing place.
hello,to those who may want to follow her steps to Rome I suggest to start planning your trip on vacation rentals in rome where you can choose your accommodation and book it instantly. and all hotel rooms and apartments offer a free internet connection...ciao
