The Calendarbook 2010 and giveaway

Last week I finished to send out the self-promotional CalendarBook 2010. So happy, this year, I made it by the middle of January! I took some pictures and only a few copies are now available in the shop with free shipping. The Calendar is a limited edition of 250 copies, designed and hand-made in collaboration with Silvana Amato, under our imprint of Edizioni Almenodue.
The long, beautiful landscape is an illustration by Guido Scarabottolo. The calendar is offset printed in Rome on Fedrigoni Old Mill cover paper and includes:2 gold map tacks, 1 meter hemp thread and 6 wooden clothespins, all protected in a muslin, cotton bag. You will wrap the thread around the map tacks and secure it with a knot. Position the map tacks in the desired place and use the clothespins to hang the 12 months, divided into 6 cards. Every card is printed on both sides, 4 x 6 inches size.
We were lucky and honored to work with wonderful Guido Scarabottolo and his oniric imagination, as well as being inspired by Diva Pyari's Wall Display Kit, given as a present during the past NSS. We wanted to design a calendar that creates a perpetual landscape, all year long!
Let me know with a comment what you think of our collaboration by January 31st and I will be happy to send a copy of the CalendarBook as a giveaway. It will be my pleasure to read your opinion and good luck!

Beautiful calendar, and very clever idea. I love Guido Scarabottolo's artwork -- thanks for introducing me to him. Oh, and I also have a hankering for your artist's book 'The Fruit, Herb and Vegetable of Italy.'

Thanks too for making the Calendarbook available for a giveaway. I'm keeping all fingers crossed...

Such a nice collaboration, and overall great presentation. I love the colors, the twine, the gold tacks, the whole shebang. I also love the lion with wings, and that all the months come together to create one image. Really nice work!

Hello, I am new to your site but I love your style of work. The calendar lay out is so different and the artist illustrations are so unique. A lovely combination. Our walls are newly sparse after some flat mates moved out so this would be ideal! Practical art - I love it. Sharolyn

I think the winning point of your calendar book is really how you have so lovingly and artistically compose the calendar from the choice of printing and paper to the display accompaniments and details - what a wonderful way to display a calendar showing every month of the year.
Great giveaway - indeed privilege to win it!
