These are gorgeous, Angela! I was so excited to see them in the first post you shared. I love the glassine envelopes, too. I was thinking of making a color spectrum collage of some sort with them, or using them at Christmas.

angela,
these stamps are beautiful and inspiring, especially to a travel lover such as myself. i am always mailing myself postcards to have each city/country's unique stamp/mark. i would proudly showcase a display on my wall.

stamps are like the perfect miniature work of art, a tiny engraving or lithograph. i remember finding a book of vintage stamps once and marveling at the worlds contained within them.

I love these stamps and am so happy you are sharing them with one lucky duck! Where will these be sold in case I am not the chosen winner? These would be so great in collage and art journaling!

angela, you are so kind to share these stamps! i absolutely LOVE vintage stamps ... they remind me of yesteryear and the art of writing letters, and of travel, and of exotic places. i would definitely incorporate them into the journals i made at SQUAM! xh

Salve Angela,

Questi francobolli mi fanno pensare alla mia infanzia, quando andavamo con mio fratello al Carré Marigny, a pied dei Champs Elysees.

I have always loved everything paper, but what I like best is packaging gifts, and I think this set could be quite awesome for this purpose.

Thanks for offering us a chance to get one.

Is there anything better than vintage stamps? I think not. These, I've decided, will become jewelry, little framed pieces of art, and ephemera for collaging. Buon compleanno, Angela!
