Francobolli

I'm spending days after days of what it feels as the all summer, sorting through vintage stamps for an order that I will announce soon. My collection of postage stamps extended incredibly, and I'm still amazed about what I can find everyday. The design is so intricate and delicate at the same time for such a small piece of paper. Within the boxes I also find some treasures: little packages of stamps tight together with thread from an avid collector. So beautiful I had to photograph some of my favorite!

beautiful. Bundled stamps are the sweetest. You've amassed a wonderful collection!

So beautiful! And how awesome that someone treasured them that they are still in this condition, so we can be happy about them now.

The francoboli are so beautiful. I am salivating over them (which is weird or gross, considering we lick stamps!). What a treasure.

Small stacks of stamps tied together with string. My heart just swooned.

Hi, I realize this s a super old post but I have a question about your bundled stamps. I am on a quest to help my stamp collector grandpa get rid of hundreds of stamps and was looking for ideas and have come across tow places where people would stack and tie them nicely. I was just curious to why? What is the use of these stamps? I mean are they going to be used in a different project or are the bundles going to be decoration. And if so, how would you display them?
