The winter market at Justine's

There are no words to describe the market at Justine's house. I wanted to photograph every detail of this beautiful house and I was not be able to put the camera down during the day. Lots of light, with big windows and large space. Some walls are unfinished and they were the best background for any photo, there were no need to style, I left everything as it was. It was also the first sunny day after a week! We filled the space with amazing vendors, curated by Justine, and every room was glowing with colors and textures. I hope these images can give you an idea of the day and I want to thank eveyone that came and spend the day with us. It was another party to celebrate the season and it wouldn't be the same without you. A special thank to Justine Hand for opening her house and for being the best host everyone could ask for!

The studio event 2014

It took me a little while, but I'm so happy to go through these photos from the open studio and be able to share them with you. I want to thank everyone that came to visit us and made the event very special and a lot of fun. And to Jill Rosenwald, Susy Pilgrim Waters , Kirsty Allore and Stephanie Schlim for sharing the day with us and bring their beautiful wares. Here below a little glimpse of the party, our espresso station, my boys and the party favors for customers that stopped by. It was great, we will do it again!

Annual holiday open studio

We are planning our Annual Open Studio on December 6th and I hope to see old and new friends to our event. We will have Susy Pilgrim Waters, Jill Rosenwald and Allore Candles as our special guests. Along with serving signature espresso duirng the day, we will offer a free studio gift to the first 20 people that will stop by to visit. The same day, December 6th, from 11 to 6, we will have a pop up shop in the South End Boston, the annual event Paper, Fabric and Stitch at the Michelle Willey on 8 Union Park Street. Along with Studio Carta products, will be featured work by Jill Bent and Stitch and Tickle Leather goods. I think they are all good reasons worth the visit. More events to come for the month of December, please stay tuned and thank you.

A quick reminder: For the Love of Letterpress event is this Saturday, March 22nd at our studio on 97 Boylston Street, Brookline, MA, from 11 to 4 pm. We are getting ready and make space for the new exhibitors and to open our door to new and old studio's friend. Please join us and happy spring!

We had so much fun last year during this event, that we are ready to invite more designers to share the studio with us and open the door to see you all. Stop by to meet letterpress printers and designers behind the wonderful studios of Albertine Press, Ladyfingers Letterpress, Letter and Lark and Parrott Design, coming together to share their expertise and creations. The holidays studio event

Immense thanks to all who stopped by our recent open studio. We were amazed about the attendance and we never had as many people at the studio in only one day. At some point, there were so many people it was hard to move! It was beautiful to meet you all, new and old friend that filled us with warm enthusiasm, support and inspiration. I also would like to thank Hillary Deane and Rebecca Cahan for helping me at the studio and making it grow in production and effiency in the past year. For those of you that missed the fun and celebration, the studio will be open again on December 18th, from 4 to 7 pm. Susy, Jill, Kirsty and I will love to see you and we will have hot, mint tea and treats waiting for you. We had several people after the event, asking for a date during the week, possibly after work hours, so I hope you can stop by. We will also be in Boston South End, at Michelle Willey, this Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th, for our annual event Paper Fabric and Stitch, along with work by Sophie Troung.
